The lack of informational surveys and data regarding home schooling in many areas of the world makes it difficult to draw conclusions regarding reasons for home schooling on a global level, but some sort of dissatisfaction with the current school system in their location is usually the underlying reason for home schooling on the part of most parents, even if the way in which that dissatisfaction manifests itself is rather different.
